The Tanzania Institute of Accountancy (TIA) offers Basic Technician Certificate (NTA Level 4) programmes during its March intake, which is coordinated by NACTVET.
The official application window for the 2025/26 March intake is scheduled to run from February 10, 2026, to February 28, 2026.

Application Requirements
To be eligible for any of the Basic Technician Certificate (NTA Level 4) programmes, you must meet the following minimum requirement:
- A Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE) with at least four “D” passes in relevant, non-religious subjects.
How to Apply
When the window opens in February 2026, the application must be done online.
- Visit the Official Portal: Go to the TIA Online Application System (OAS).
- Create Account: Register for a new account using your Form Four Index Number and personal details.
- Generate Control Number: The system will generate a Control Number for the application fee.
- Pay the Fee: Pay the non-refundable application fee via mobile money or bank.
- Complete Application: Log back in, fill in your details, and select your preferred Certificate course and campus.
- Submit: Review and submit your application.
