The Tanzania Institute of Accountancy (TIA) is one of the main institutions that participates in the NACTVET-coordinated March intake for Certificate and Diploma programmes.
Applications for the 2025/2026 March intake are not yet open. Based on the official NACTVET academic calendar, the application window will open in February 2026.

Application Requirements
You must have the following qualifications to apply:
- For Basic Technician Certificate (NTA Level 4): You must have a Certificate of Secondary Education (CSEE) with at least four “D” passes in relevant, non-religious subjects.
- For Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 5): You must have a Basic Technician Certificate (NTA Level 4) in a related field OR an Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (ACSEE) with at least one principal pass and one subsidiary.

How to Apply
When the application window opens in February 2026, you must apply online.
- Visit the Official Portal: Go to the TIA Online Application System (OAS).
- Create Account: Register for a new account with your personal details and academic information (Form Four Index Number).
- Generate Control Number: The system will generate a Control Number for the application fee.
- Pay the Fee: Pay the non-refundable application fee via mobile money or bank.
- Complete Application: Log back in, fill in your personal details, academic history, and choose your preferred courses and campus.
